We’ve spent almost five years building Hawks, one service at a time, always coming to you. This is the first time you can come to us, and the first hand car wash that’s been brought to Richmond.

Those brushes drag the same grit across your clear coat wash after wash. That’s where swirl marks come from. At Hawks, no brush ever touches your paint. Just hands, water, and the right products on every panel, with attention to detail on every pass. That’s not a small difference. It’s the whole reason we built this shop.
What to Expect When You Pull In
The shop has two bays. Bay one is the exterior only hand wash: pull up, no appointment, done in 10 to 20 minutes. Bay two is where we handle full details and ceramic coatings. Pick the level of shine you want:
- Basic, from $60: touchless wheel clean, pre-wash, exterior hand wash, and a 1-month spray wax
- Enhanced, from $90: everything in Basic, plus hand-cleaned wheels, exterior trim shine, and cleaned glass
- Hawk Special, from $140: a clay bar treatment and a 3-month spray ceramic sealant, for real protection between visits
Small SUVs and trucks run $10 more; 3-row SUVs and oversized trucks run $20 more.
Interior add-ons aren’t live at launch, but they’re coming. If your car needs a full detail instead of an express wash, we’ll say so. We’ll point you to the right service instead of rushing a job that needs more time.

No, you won’t need an appointment. At the shop, you bring your car to us. With mobile detailing, we come to your home or office. Pricing is the same either way, aside from the $30 surcharge that applies to mobile visits.
Do I need an appointment for a full detail at the shop?
Yes, you will need to book a full detail since they take longer than our exterior hand washes.
Why is a hand wash $60 when a tunnel wash is $12 to $15?
We wash your car by hand: wheels, glass, panels, all of it, instead of running it through spinning brushes that treat every car the same way. We’d rather explain that than argue you into it. A tunnel might be exactly what you need if you’re looking for a quick, cheap wash, but if you want your paint handled by hand, that’s what we’re here for.
Is Hawks the best car wash in Richmond, VA?

Are you still doing mobile details?
Yes. The shop is a second option, not a replacement. Full mobile details, paint correction, and ceramic coatings still work out of the shop, and we will still offer mobile detailing like we have been!

The express wash is exterior only for now, with interior add-ons coming soon. If you need interior and exterior done together, our mobile detailing services in Richmond still cover that.
